Let it Snow...

Yes...it has snowed.
A few days ago we got our first hopeful look into winter.
It was in the mountains, but hey...it was there.
Scott and I were able to just go for a nice long drive up Immigration Canyon.
I told him to stop so I could take a picture.
It was very pretty.
He parked and got out.
It was cold; I just rolled down my window.
I prepare to snap and shoot...
I get creamed by the first snowball of the year
I screamed.
At Scott.
He ran and jumped back in the car.
(I'm not as rude as he is, I would NEVER get somebody in an enclosed space)
He took the camera and got these priceless shots.

If you know me at all everything about my body language here says I am irrate

I got out of the car to brush off

Pumpkin Carving Party

The Summers Family is obsessed with Halloween...like really obsessed. It's cool though, the kids get to see each other a lot and have a good time. There are so many fun activities to do with them this time of year. Last Saturday we had everybody over for a Pumpkin Carving Party. Well, it was Lara's idea, we just were the ones to host, which was lots of fun! Lara, Mike, and Tori came. Kristine brought the little girl she nannies, Marley. What would a Pumpkin Carving Party be without Grandpa Summers as well? So, that was it...plus us.

Story of the day:
I noticed Walker playing alone in the toy room. As he plays very well with himself I wasn't concerned. He was way obsorbed in his train building. Like way TOO obsorbed. Kristine and I got on our hands and knees, slowly approached the door. He turned around a couple of times to grab something, so we had to back off. Finally, the perfect moment...I yelled "Boo!" Kristine just yelled. I have honestly never seen a look like that on the kids face before. He honestly stopped and dropped. I think I gave my 4 year old a heart attack. Then he did what any normal Walker would do...got pissed. Like wouldn't look at me or talk to me kind of mad. Burn...the silent treatment. Candy corn helped. He survived...poor kid.
Hehehehehehehehe.....the witching hour begins

An Announcement

Yay! We're engaged!!! We set a date for August 20, 2011
The kids are excited and so are we!

Mike and Lara's Wedding

Scott's brother Mike got married at the end of September. Here are a few pictures from it:
Scott and Karli (it's all she could talk about) Walker was exhausted. For an hour and a half he came up to me and said, "Jessi, I'm SO tired, can we please go home and go to bed?" I was bridesmaid so I went into the bridal room to grab something and this is what I found: naughty little girls getting in make-up. But they're cute so it's ok, right?

Family Time

Walker and I had a couple minutes to ourselves...I thought I'd share the love

Walker's 4th Birthday!!!

Yes, that's right our little guy is four! I honestly can't believe it. He is getting so big and he is such a blessing in our lives. The sweetest little boy I've ever met. We got him an RC Monster Truck for his birthday and he was SOO excited! It was the cutest thing ever to hear him literally scream for joy.
