Walker's Birthday

Catch up

So, during the fall Scott worked out of town for several months. He was gone Sunday night through Thursday night. It was one of those things that didn't kill us, so it made us stronger. We did lots of fun activities with the kids when we did have the chance.
We had Walker's 3rd birthday in September. He got a bike, which he can already ride without thr training wheels. He was so excited I thought he was going to literally fly across the room when he saw it.
My Grandma and my little sister Alissa were both married in October, so it was a busy month. Halloween was fun-filled with way too much candy. I was Minnie Mouse and Scott was - prepare yourselves - the bearded lady. Karli was a little vampiress and Walker had a little problem deciding what his costume was. We say Scully from Monsters Inc., but he said he was a wild cat.
Thanksgiving was busy, but full of family time and food. Really, that's what it's all about. Scott and I decided to move in together around this time, which caused true holiday havoc.
We shuffled the kids back and forth with their mom for different Christmas events, but ended up having a nice Christmas Day home safe and sound.
After Christmas we had the chance to see Cort, Kim, and Kate! It was Scott's first time meeting my daughter and her parents, and it was fun-filled and a great experience.
