Swim Day

We went down to the American Fork Rec Center to go swimming with the Glenn's. The pool there is very kid friendly and it's the perfect temperature!

Dad going off of the diving board...surprise! There were a few flips in there!
Walker going off of the diving board for the first time! He did so well and was so happy I didn't catch it the first time and he had to do it over a few times...

Daniel went off too! What a fish!
Grandpa and Jess hanging out with the kids.
Grandma kind of caught it! Dad was throwing Walker up in the air and he did back flips! Awesome!

Newlyweds

Yay! We did it! We are finally married! It's been too long.
My cousin Whitney is amazing and got us an incredible room up at the Hyatt in Park City.

A few spoilers

We have gotten a sneak peek of our engagements...
Scott was done by the time I found this purple tree...like done done.
However, he managed to take excellent pictures.
I was trying to squat behind him in 5 inch heels on a slope
A big slope
Hence, me laughing...I was falling over
This is one is my favorite so far
I'm pretty sure Scott has unhappy about sitting in weeds.
And I'm tickling him with grass...
Scott insisted on trying to pull a face twice...
BrieAnn managed to not avoid this one, despite her best efforts.
Scott was very proud of himself.

Lucky Man

Yes, it's a fOuR lEaFeD cLoVeR!!!

To me this is incredible. I have never seen one. Apparently this is the second one Scott has found.

He's lucky.
Correction...luckiest.

Why would I get to be the one to find this treasure?

He wasn't even looking. He was urinating outside, looked down, and saw it. That's how mad I am, I'm admitting publicly my significant other urinates outside on a regular basis...for no reason.

Haha. Not so lucky anymore...

Bragging Rights

Scott is constantly telling me to stop bragging about certain things...whatever. Some things you totally have earned the right to brag about.

Ah-em. Yes, I have an amazing fiancee who has connections. For instance...cat rides snowboarding, which we are doing tonight. I'll brag about that. It's pretty freakin' awesome in my opinion.

Must I say I found out my credit score is AMAZING. Yeah, I'll brag about that too. It takes some HARD work to get your credit score up after making some shitty decisions as a young-er adult. Am I excited we could possibly buy a house in the next year? Pshhh...YES!

Not to mention all the INCREDIBLE deals I've found for the wedding. Uhh...yeah. My dress is incredible, custom fit, and was a steal. My photographer made my day with the price I got. BRING IT! I'm totally getting the best price I can on everything. I'm definitely going to brag about that.

Not only did Karli LOVE her ice skating lessons, both of the kids LOVED our vacation to (drumroll please) DISNEYLAND!!! Heck yes! It was pretty much amazing. The kids were amazing. We drove...12 hours. There wasn't one fight there or back, except between Scott and I (directions people, like it's that hard when I tell you 1.4 mile until you veer right). I'll brag about my amazing children...and our trip to the happiest place on earth. Pictures will come soon.

Oh, not to mention we got to see Kate and her family while there! Her two siblings are adorable. I have to say though, the night before I was explaining the situation to Karli, and she asked me why I placed Kate. Oh gee, I'm supposed to explain the most complicated thing EVER to my 7 year old. I just said, "Well, my friends couldn't have a baby and her daddy chose not to be around. I wanted her to have a mommy and a daddy, so I gave her to them." can I just say...shoot me now. The child is a tender soul. I get a wide-eyed look from those big blues and she says, "You're such a good mommy" and gives me the biggest hug ever. I just about died. Totally made me cry. I'll brag about that. Needless to say, it was an EXCELLENT visit. Kate is doing well and is adorable. She totally loved the dress we got her and wanted to put it on immediately.

Yes, I brag. Do I care? Not really. Why?

The Week

Normally I try to stay positive with our blog. Last weekend Karli threw up ALL over the bathroom. We had lasagne for dinner...enough said. Sunday night Scott starting throwing up. He is the BIGGEST baby and needs more attention than any newborn I've seen when he's sick. It's kind of ridiculous. Well, Tuesday rolls around and I'm pretty sure I've escaped it. No such luck; I woke up Wednesday dying. Not really dying, but I felt like it. Does this mean I act like an infant? No! Of course not. Scott's still not feel up to par as of today. I feel ok, but kind of poopy.
Yesterday Scott went to start his car to run some errands and he comes in and says somebody had gotten into his car during the night, that everything was everywhere. When I ask if the got into mine he replies that he didn't check. Really? You have to walk by my car to get to and from yours. Really? I go check...CRAP...everywhere! Seriously? It's a little ridiculous. I haven't even been able to manage making such a HUGE mess in my own car. That's saying something. Just papers everywhere. They didn't take any of my CD's, but they took my i-pod. Yet they took all of Scott's CD's. Weird. They hit our neighbors too. I actually got a call from her saying she had found an envelope with Scott's name and a bunch of our pictures in it. They had actually taken pictures of us and the kids! CREEPY. Yet they didn't take our neighbors golf clubs, just sunglasses. I hate people like this. Seriously, if your going to break into my freakin' car at least clean the thing out. I guess it's our fault for not locking them, but come on people! They are both parked under an awning towards the back of the house. It's pretty freakin' ballsy. I wouldn't do it, but what can I say, I'm a wuss. Stupid kids....

Wonderful Winter Wonderland

Last weekend had the kids. It snowed quite a bit.
*********
They had a blast! Scott went out and made a snowman with them.
They were way too excited for how cold it was.
Scott and the kids starting the snowman
Karli standing by the finished product

Walker was trying to ride his bike in the snow...he crashed

He decided to stick to the shoveled driveway for a little bit
Don't ask me why Karli doesn't have her coat on

This was first thing in the morning. I just wanted a picture in the snow. He got a little carried away. Don't worry...he was only outside like this for about five minutes before we got him dressed a little warmer.

Let it Snow...

Yes...it has snowed.
A few days ago we got our first hopeful look into winter.
It was in the mountains, but hey...it was there.
Scott and I were able to just go for a nice long drive up Immigration Canyon.
I told him to stop so I could take a picture.
It was very pretty.
He parked and got out.
It was cold; I just rolled down my window.
I prepare to snap and shoot...
I get creamed by the first snowball of the year
I screamed.
At Scott.
He ran and jumped back in the car.
(I'm not as rude as he is, I would NEVER get somebody in an enclosed space)
He took the camera and got these priceless shots.

If you know me at all everything about my body language here says I am irrate

I got out of the car to brush off

An Announcement

Yay! We're engaged!!! We set a date for August 20, 2011
The kids are excited and so are we!

Mike and Lara's Wedding

Scott's brother Mike got married at the end of September. Here are a few pictures from it:
Scott and Karli (it's all she could talk about) Walker was exhausted. For an hour and a half he came up to me and said, "Jessi, I'm SO tired, can we please go home and go to bed?" I was bridesmaid so I went into the bridal room to grab something and this is what I found: naughty little girls getting in make-up. But they're cute so it's ok, right?

Family Time

Walker and I had a couple minutes to ourselves...I thought I'd share the love
